2014 Running Year Review

Looking at my running log page, I can’t help but be awed by the numerous foot races that I did this year. I could proudly say that I achieved something great this year. Allow me to walk you through a review of the foot races that that I joined in 2014.

I started 2014 with an 11K run at the UP Academic Oval during the United4PH Run. Then immediately followed it up with a new PR for 21K (2:03:22) during the 7-11 Run 1000 at the Cavitex area. On March 9, 2014 I joined the Clark Animo Marathon in Clark Airfield Pampanga. This was my second full marathon and I beat my PR for 42K, finishing this gruelsome run with a time of 5 hours and 37 minutes. Condura Skyway Marathon 2014 or Subic International Marathon?

I’m having a bit of dilemma right now courtesy of conflicting schedules of major running events in the early part of 2014. I’m referring of course to the Condura Skyway Marathon 2014 and Subic International Marathon 2014. SIM 2014 is scheduled on January 25, 2014 while Condura is usually held early part of February. 37th Milo Marathon Manila Finals

37th milo marathon manila finalsThe 37th Milo Marathon Manila Finals will be held on December 8, 2013 at the SM Mall of Asia. Recently, both online and on-site registration were opened to those who did not qualify to the finals. There will be four events opened to the public – 21K, 10K, 5K and 3K. The full marathon event is reserved for those who qualified based on their performances during the elimination rounds held in various cities around the country.
